2017

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!

So another year has ended and another new year has just begun. Waking up this morning to almost everyone posting their new year's celebrations and "the firsts" and "lasts" of literally EVERYTHING before and after the clock strikes twelve. Some were celebrating at parties and gatherings while some stayed at home celebrating with pizzas and movies. As for me, I stayed at home watching movies while admiring almost ten fireworks that went on at the same time from my apartment's balcony.

While others cannot wait to start spending their first month of the new year, I just can't wait for it to end because I have finals to deal with 😟. My first paper starts on January 5th and I AM STRUGGLING with revisions and LIFE. But underneath all that worry and stress, I am quite excited for my first ever ONE MONTH semester break that is coming after finals. What's the big deal you might ask? It's a big deal because my school NEVER give us a one month break like EVER! So I am pretty excited to be spending the month with my mum and sisters and see what 2017 will have in store for us.

So since I am not good with new year's resolutions, I'm just going to list down some of the things that I wish to happen in 2017 *fingers crossed:

1. To not overthink everything and just do 🙌
2. Count my blessings instead of complaining 🙇
3. Fix any broken relationship that is worth fixing 💝
4. Have a stable social life 💃
5. A 21st birthday that is worth remembering (I really want a pretty birthday surprise) 💋🎊🎋
6. Put in more effort in what I do instead of just doing it for the sake of doing it 💪
7. Start saving up instead of spending it all 🙈
8. Start reading 😀
9. Talk less and listen more 👂
10. Focus more on getting healthy instead of getting skinny 🏃

I guess that is all I can come up with for now and I can only hope and wish and try to put in a lot of effort to make it all happened this year. I'm not going to say that I had a good feeling about this year because each and everyday is a challenge and some challenges can be harder than the next so in a nutshell all I can say is hopefully it's a challenge that I can take and get stronger and wiser throughout the process.

And again HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone that is reading this. I love you guys 💗

Love, Nadia
